Kurdish Language
Kurdish Language spoken in many different places around the world. The majority of the Kurds are living in the modern state of Turkey where they are more than 20% of the population without their basic rights like studying in their mother tongue. The Kurds were faced genocide. The Kurds in Iran are more than 12 million and the biggest Kurdish cities are Urmia, Kermanshah, Sine, Ilam, and Mahabad. Northern Iraq and Northern Syria are also Kurdistan where the Kurds nowadays enjoy their autonomy.
Due to not have a state and united language policy, Kurdish is still protected its historical structures that makes it even more unique. Both Sorani Kurdish and Kurmanji Kurdish represent Kurdish language. Kurmanji is written in Latin script and Sorani is written in modified Kurdo-Arabic script.
Kurdish is language of education in both Iraqi Kurdistan and Syrian Kurdistan. It is used as a medium language from kindergarten to doctorate.

The two famous rivers of Tigris and Euphrates where they start in Northern part of Kurdistan and flow to south of Iraq could be the most mentioned things in the world geography and education. However, there are much more.
The Medians who ruled the Middle East before Christianity were the Kurdish ancestors. Also, Saladin, the famous Islamic leader who rules the whole Middle East and Northern Africa was from Kurdish origin.
Kurdish woman has always had more power compared to the others around. Woman in Kurdish culture is so different with women in many other cultures. The modern Kurds also very in favor to empower their ladies. In the fight against ISIS, Kurdish female fighters played a vital role. Jin means woman, jiyan means life, azadi means freedom. This is the Kurdish slogan in the way of their freedom.
