Kurdish for beginners

Level 1 – Central Kurdish (Sorani) course for beginners (Dec. 14, 2020)

Our focus will be on:

Central Kurdish alphabet
The Personal pronouns, and greetings in Kurdish
Present simple sentence
Question, answer and negative in present
Reading and listening
Numbers and Personal suffixes
Jobs and places in Kurdish
Telling a mobile number and some common sentences
Definite, indefinite, linking words
Singular and plural
Common Kurdish verbs and using them in meaningful present and future sentences.
Past simple in Kurdish.
Reading short stories

* The course will be taught online via Google Meet. The lessons would be on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 20.00 Erbil time. We also share the recordings and the slides with the registered students. So, it helps students to study whenever they want, and their questions are always welcome.

* The courses will be taught in English by Dr. Hewa S. Khalid, lecturer at Kurdish language department at Koya University. He has a PhD in Kurdish Language Teaching

* We have daily quiz and the instructor will be in touch with students to answer their questions and check their quizzes.
